If you do not have airtime, then you can use the MTN call me back USSD code to send the other MTN user a text message requesting they call you back.
The code is available 24/7 on all devices and OS, and does not require airtime balance or network connection to function. All you need is your MTN SIM card and the call me back USSD code.
Important Facts about the MTN Call Back Service
- The MTN call me back service is free of charge, you won’t be charged with any fee for the SMS.
- You can send a call me back SMS for a maximum of 5 times daily. This means that, you are only allowed to use this service 5 times a day, or 35 times a week.
- The MTN call me back service is only available on the MTN network, and cannot be used for other networks service in Nigeria.
- After dialling the MTN call me back USSD code, you will receive a notification once the recipient receives the call me back SMS.

This is a type of call me back SMS you can send using the MTN call me back code. It’s used to inform the recipient that you have gist or information you wish to relay to them. To send this type of call me back SMS, follow the procedures below:

- Select option 4 for call me back, I have a gist for you.
2. Call Back, I Need Your Assistance
This is another type of MTN call me back SMS. This one informs the recipient that you wish to ask for their assistance. To send this type of call me back SMS, follow the procedures below:
- Dial *133# using your MTN SIM car
- Enter the recipient’s MTN phone number
- Select option 5 for Call me back, I need your assistance.
3. Send Me Credit
This type of call me back SMS is used to request the recipient to send you airtime. To send this type of call me back SMS, follow the procedures below:

- Select option 3 for Call me back, for send me credit.
4. Please Call Me
